Tried painting with light for the first time tonight. I'm pretty happy with the way these came out.

Nice stick man, did you find a tutorial on how to do it? If so, could you point me in the direction of it?

Next step, add a special someone in bed with him...

No, just wanted to do something different with light so was playing with a flash light and my cats trying to paint them in the dark.
Wanted to draw something, but the flash lights beam was too big. To created the stick man I used a small LED key chain flash light.
First pic was bad, but realized looking at the pic that the LED bulb needs to always be pointed at the camera.

I believe that if you don't come between the camera and the light you won't show up in the image. At least this seemed to work for me here.

Hey tross, thanks for the tips.
I took a study break and tried out what you described. My results weren't quite up to par with yours, but its a start.
I set a 430ex II w/ diffuser at 1/4 on top of a linen cabinet pointed at the ceiling, took a 20sec exposure and used a red LED.
Hopefully with some practice I'll get something a little closer to what you put up.

Very nice that looks great, love that he's fat, even got a beard on him.
I actually didn't use a flash, I did have ever in the final seconds, flashed the room light on and of really fast twice to light the room up a little bit.

You got very nice even lighting across the whole bed with the flash.

Stick man is awesome!

Started playing around with light painting this weekend myself. It's a lot of fun!
