Canon 430ex II and [M]zoom

one of my friends came over here and her 430ex II won't get off of m[zoom] and it keeps blinking. Do anyone know how to get rid of this? Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you just press the 'zoom' button, followed by either the + or - button until it returns to auto zoom.

Thanks! It worked for mine, but hers (M zoom 14 and everything on her lcd screen is blinking.

Pull the wide panel out and push it back in. It always displays 14mm when the wide panel is out. Even a little bit.
