Is this picture that bad that no one wants to comment on it? I must be missing something if it is...

I dig it man. I like how the background was a little blown out to make your bor's shirt pop a little more.

Is this a one strobe set-up? Want to try to take some shots like this. Good job!

Nice shot.
The crease in the forehead is a bit distracting though my eyes keep going to it.

It's because you posted it at 2:00AM(ish)

Photo looks good. I would see if you can clean up the "drop shadow" behind his head and left ear.

What kind of modifier were you using for the key above him?

I like it. As I was looking at this I thought, "wouldn't it be cool if the ball was a Nike and the Nike symbol showed up as he was throwing it in the air". Might take a hundred shots to get it or photoshop.

It was a beauty dish above as the key light, the super fast flash duration of the Einstein stopped the ball in mid air no problem. We did try like 100 times to get that ball right and it never was perfect, plus its a Titliest ball haha.

Really nice work! I just wish the other hand wasn't cut off, but that's just little stuff. Good shot!

good shot, Dave. Appropriate for age and he looks like a golfer. I just want to know all the kids his age started hitting it 300 from the tee box!!!! All the best to your brother on tour.

Dave, this shot is great. Loved the way you fixed it, really. I agree with Gr8outdrsmn, if your brother was holding a golf club it would make this photo even greater.

I like it overall, it would be good if you could bring back the bright bit
on the right there. It's a bit distracting for me, and maybe try cropping
it just above his wrist. Hard to say if a crop looks better without seeing it.
