No picture to post, but there's plenty of room in the Dryzone Rover to store a 5D2 body with a lens mounted. I was able to attach my 24-70L to the 5D2, and store it (lens facing up) in the center portion of the gear compartment. I also was able to stow the 70-200/2.8L and a 17-40L in two of the remaining four lens pockets. This left two additional pockets open and available for other items (teleconverter, etc.). So if your preference is to store a body with attached lens, as well waterproof protection, the Dryzone Rover will work just fine.

thanks a lot!!
really appreciate it

my only question , could be dangerous store lens and a camera + lens in the bottom side of a rucksack ?
i mean for example a fall, or a fall of the rucksack ..

I imagine if you're not careful, it could be an issue. For extra safety, I removed the camera insert from the Rover's gear compartment and inserted a piece of bubble plastic that I had cut to fit the contour of the compartment, then just re-inserted the camera insert. I've been all over with mine, and haven't had any issues. Its like anything else...if you're not careful, accidents can/will happen.

On a related note, if you get a totally waterproof equivalent of a dry bag (external link), you can get water condensing on items within the bag. This occurs when the air is humid (i.e. much water vapor in the air) when the bag is closed and then the temperature drops, causing the water vapor to condense to liquid water inside the bag.

The traditional method to help prevent this is to put some drying agent such as dry silica gel inside the bag. However, silica gel has a limited ability to absorb water vapor and once it has taken up all the water vapor it can, it has to be heated to dry it out.

Not a problem...good luck with whatever you decide to go with.
