I posteda couple of weeks ago about how I'm tired of shooting men's basketball halfway through the season. I've adjusted my techniques to get better shots but we'll save that for another thread.
Anyways, SJSU had its first home women's swim meet today. I did what any bored photographer would do and got out in the patchy overcast sun and shot the hell out of the swimmers. After shooting 2 months worth of poor indoor lighting sporting events, the daylight 7D performance blew me away. The 7D gets the job done at high ISO indoors, but hot damn its a whole different beast in legit lighting

Must be nice to be able to do it outside though... our outdoor pools are drained and under 3 feet of snow.
I want to pick up a 300 f/4 or 400 f/5.6 for baseball season. BUT I can't afford one right now.
