I'm not saying this to be snarky, but I'd suggest going to a Leica forum and see what--if anything--they're having to do to make the digital Leicas have "the Leica look." RDKirk Adorama says I'm "packed." More info | Jan 29, 2011 20:38 | #13 Well, IMO, this is a Canon forum, so we all should know what "the Canon look" is...and anyone who doesn't already know "the Leica look" can't help even if given an example. TANSTAAFL--The Only Unbreakable Rule in Photography

With the trial comes the ICC profiles used in C1 to emulate camera looks. They include Leica digital cameras (D-Lux4, 5; M8, M9, R8, R9, X1). Even after the trial has expired, you can use the profiles to change the color rendering in any application that uses ICC profiles. That is, you can copy the profiles to where your system-wide profiles live and access them that way. Leica profiles tend to give very rich, saturated colors. This might get you closer. In the attached image, the variant on the right is the original, rendered with the 5D profile; left is a variant of the image rendered with the Leica M9 profile. Kirk
