A pic of a friend's Peugeot CRZ sports car, taken at a local stone quarry in Caithness, Scotland. Two speedlites used. Not sure if colour or B&W is best.

Color for me, & that's a great first shot here. Wish there was a bit more light on the rear wheels.

The processing looks rather strange, almost as if its a CGI image

I like the color... I might have done this without the crane... might look cleaner.

I just plain don't like it. It looks too faked IMO. I do like the color version better, but I just think it would look better less....smudgy. It also looks like the reflection was put in during post. Finally, it looks to me to be very artifacted from the sharpening or compression, not sure which, but that's an easy fix. That image does have some serious potential though.

Interesting - but ....
The subject (car) does not work with background (crane and pit).
It does not work in lighting or suitability.
The wheels tires are dirty and need more light.
The rear of car needs light like the front has.

It looks so similar to Audi TT from this angle! Yet Peugeot didn't have a design department. At least doesn't seems to have one:)
The sky looks too busy i think, I like the BW better

Thanks everyone. Comments taken on board. New version attached, plus the owner's favourite view. Both processed in Photoshop.

Why do you keep messing with the sky like that? I'm only asking because it doesn't enhance either image. Whatever you're doing in post makes them look too fake for my tastes. Can you post one of the originals?

The image catches my eye, but I don't like the processing of the sky. There is definitely potential here and I enjoy seeing photos of construction equipment with vehicles.
