I went to Cheyenne today to go see my Grandma. Since my parents now live 1700 miles away, I drove up to see her for my birthday. On my way home, I decided to go hang out in my favorite train yard and learn to use my new lens some more.

I've often wondered how picky they were there for hanging around the yard and shooting. Any trouble? I'm not seeing exif on these. What lens?

I have been there a few times and have had no issues. I often get waves from the engineers.

The lens is a Canon 70-200 f/4L shot on a Canon 40D

Thanks. I'll have to look around the next time I get over there. Maybe Mitch can suggest something too.

Be very careful wandering around the railyard. Good place to get a ticket. From the appearance of a couple of those shots, you were way out of bounds. The pictures are nice, but they aren't worth getting arrested for.

Nice shots but I'm not sure they're worth trespassing for.
