Hi all, I have had this problem for quite some time already.

I'm working with an mp3 file for a junior college orientation production, and I'm having a very slight but noticeable skipping of the audio.

Here is the short 5 second video showing the issue. The skipping happens just before 4 seconds, where the musical note repeats itself.

Any idea how to solve it?

Also - I'm getting pops while using WMA files. Is there a way to convert them to WAV files? It seems like the MP3's are getting the skipping, and the WMA files are getting the popping sounds.

Do you have the original sound clip of the music?
Redo it sounds like something was snipped and put back together not linked up

Loads of free converters for swapping all files online..
I am using mp3's out of a zoom recorder right now & its pretty solid

What is your export settings like ? Doing anything with the audio different?

They are the proper full clips without any editing! I'll try Mike's method now.

EDIT: Worked a charm! Thanks Mike!
