The pier adds a great background to the image and gives it good depth. This guy got some sick air. It looks like his back foot missed the pad in the first shot, but he corrected it in the second...assuming these are consecutive snaps.

It doesn't look like he got enough rotation to get the board back under his feet. I've got to make it up to HB Pier for a few shoots and some surf soon.
