You may have seen a few of these in the flash section. here is the set, probably not eveyones cup of tea but hopefully you will like it.

I went with the mindset of producing a soft aged set with a bit of mystique, and my lovely model had just the right clothes (bear in mind it was 0 degrees C and windy!).

No usable natural light to speak of so lighting was provided a single yn460II in a shootthrough brolleybox, very little power as i wanted plenty of ambient... and there wasnt much to be had!

camera is a 500d, and the lens was the superb tamron 17-50 non vc.

PP was mostly done in lightroom. Warmth added (I didnt CTO my flash, and the woodland was a bit grey for my taste), very subtle split tone. Finally a sepia layer was added with about 30% opacity and a curve adjustment to washout the blacks a little.

and finally, a pic that doesnt go with the set as it was taken when there was a bit of light to play with (earlier in the evening).

4 is also my fave'. Along with 5 'cause big messy hair is awesome. I'll have to try what you did in post.
