I'ts time for new laptop, I'm researching issues with installing cs4 on new pc with w7 64bit . seems to be some issues but that is with installing w7 on vista then installing cs4. And everything I can find is over a year old. Can't find anything about installing cs4 on a new pc.Has anybody here done this and how did you make out

It was extended and I had no issues with anything. CS4 was made for Vista 64bit and is fully supprted under 7. Because 7 is essentially Vista under a different name due to Vista getting an undeserved bad reputation.

Never trust the internet for compatibility reports. Only the few with issues ever post and they usually leave out the real reason, the majority with no problems rarely bother.

thanks for the info. Justed checked with adobe's site. they list some problems that are easy fixes but they are with clean installs of w7 coming from vista and xp and they say its a gpu issue.
