Thank you David for the pick, the words and the challenge. There were many good submissions for the challenge, and it was nice seeing a good turnout.

Congrats, Jason! I like that leaf shot. That is cool material. Congrats to John & Mike too! Both were great shots! It was great to see more participants this week.

Mike, you'll love that 100mm L macro lens, and welcome to the world of macro! I have the non-L version and love it, but I rented the L version a few weeks ago and now have a serious case of lens envy for it. I can tell a real difference on the bokeh between the two.

Jnbradley, your lens bag shot was pretty cool. I like those semi-abstract patterns in things. Was that cropped a fair amount? The 100mm macro can get some great detail, but if your shot was full frame, I'd be really impressed!

Thanks lavanut. It was about 1/4 of full frame. Had a short extension tube on the 100. This was my first attempt at something like this- hardly knew where to start.
