I was shooting a landscape on the cliffs of Baker Beach when this hawk swoops down 3 feet in front of me, no exaggeration, and grabs this mouse! He sat there for a second, killing it and I could do nothing with my stupid 10 stop neutral density filter on the front of my lens. After the kill, he flew to a nearby ledge and I shot this with my telephoto. You can see the kill in his claws.
