so i went out today after having a couple of VERY stressful weeks of school and working on the weekend to try to relieve some stress by taking pictures. It only stressed me out more b/c i realized i wasnt as good as i thought, i think the only thing that made the rig shot come out half ok is the fact that i shot with the L lens, my cheapo 18-55 would never get teh quality in the condition that i had tonight.. i dont know if im just overly critical, or if i was just too tired to really make anything work.. I also dont know what i was smoking when i was adjusting the white balance, the overall color of the photo is pretty horrible i think

and here is a quick, crappy quality timelapse i shot while doing the rig shots

I also decided to try some night flash photography, and again, i thought i was much better at it than this... i was only able to salvage 1 good pic out of the 20 or 30 i snapped. I think the problem was that it was completely dark outside, so the flash just simply exposed the car the way it looks normally.. if there was a sunset or something that i could expose the camera to and then play with the flashes to properly expose the car it would have looked better... but right now they just look boring... here it is:

and the timelapse for this portion of the shoot:

i also found it hard to shoot the supra with flashes b/c it has so many damned curves.. no mater where you place the flash some angle, somewhere, will reflect it...
so what it boils down to is practice, practice, practice, practice, and more damn practice, < all of the activites for which i do not have the time for b/c the last semester in school is so freakin busy.
