Wow thanks for the kind words guys, glad you all enjoyed them!

Spectre I was using a 100-400 the whole day. There were alot of first timers there I noticed. Do you shoot RAW? If so I left the sharpness at 4 and then when editing in photoshop, after resizing to 1200 I did a coat of USM at 200-400,.2 and 0. Hope it helps! :cool: (I was looking for a waving icon but couldn't find one :(

Thanks for the hints. I do shoot raw and though I have Photoshop I do 99% of my editing in Lightroom. I will play around with these settings. Your shots look many times more sharp then mine do. I was a little disheartened to tell you the truth and am thinking of renting a 300 2.8 for the next flag... and if that goes well I'll sell a kid on the black market (hell....I have three) to buy one.
