I've always wanted to get into photography but was hesitant to do so because I am severely color blind.

Is this something that I can learn to work through or is it something that will cause me great frustration?

Anyone else color blind?

We have a gentleman in our photography group who is colorblind and aside from the occasional excursion into creative white balances, he does quite well given his situation.

He's simply amazing at black & white photography.

Don't look at it as a limitation. Look at it as a challenge to be met!

I would encourage you to pursue black and white photography, which is often quite beautiful.
