Business Cards - Where to get in CANADA??

Did an extensive search and seems like most if not all threads are about US. I live in Canada and am looking for a Canadian printer I want to order 500-1000 Business cards but do not know where to order from.

Yes I have looked at VisaPrint, Moo and Overnightprints. I heard VisaPrint's quality can be dodgy, Moo is a bit expensive, and OvernightPrints uses UPS to ship from states to Canada which is a recipe for disaster when it comes to Customs and Handling Fees.

I would like very thick cards like the ones Overnightprints makes. Double sided color on both sides, high quality printing edge to edge. Yes budget is an issue; I'm not willing to spend 3 digits on Business Cards.

Please help me find a reputable Canadian Business Card printer that would make such thick awesomely printed business cards :-). Any ideas?

Staples business cards are a JOKE. Not only are they overpriced; I got 50 made once just to try and they were horrible. Flimsy, bad printing like an out of focus picture.

Being in Toronto you must have numerous options available to you. Sometimes a University printer is a good option.

Hmm...is that a store? Care to elaborate? What stock are those really thick cards usually? 14pt? 15pt? 16pt?

I live in Canada and I use Moo. That said, in the past I've used local printers in both Calgary and Edmonton. Have you checked the Yellow Pages? I was able to go to their shop and look at samples. Worked pretty well...

Did you get dinged on customs charges when ordering from Moo?

VistaPrint was terrible. I've got an email in to them right now asking for my money back. Moo is who I'm using next.. I've held their cards in my hand, and they're quality.

As for Canada, I can't say, but I've been thoroughly impressed with Moo as well. I ordered some mini cards, and they held up pretty good for color reproduction and quality of card stock.
I've also been really impressed with Tasteofinkstudios.com. I would only order from them if you have a hankerin' for some high quality business cards. I wouldn't look at them if you're looking to spend less than $250 dollars for your cards however. Quality is impeccable with them.

No. I paid some marginal shipping fee (like $7 or $12 if I remember) and they showed up in my mailbox. No customs fees or anything. That was about 12 months ago.

Moo is awesome
no customs

I ordered 200 my first time, and then a couple months later they had a sale (I think 40% off) so I ordered a bunch more then...

I just got my 200 cards from Moo, no custom costs...I also ordered Thank-You cards and stickers, I love their quality.

Use this code 77FFCK and you will save 30% off your first order.
