This isn't final, but I'm thinking something like this for the back:

i would do the 2nd with a email bottom left, website bottom mid, number bottom right

If you do the 3rd, add a filmstrip of your pictures..thatd look cool and maybe add your own square or circle logo to the right of your contact

I like the red accents, but with the black texture and gradient and than the bright kids paint colors, it's starting to feel conflicted.

Black white and red is stark and simple. Adding in the other colors clutters it. I would make them all red, or change it to a solid bar that runs down alongside all three.

On the front rather than adding a tin foil around the square why not use a red foil for the square. Again, everything you've shown us is very clean, and uncluttered. (People who can simplify there messages are a graphic designers dream) It stands out and is easy to read. I'd preserve that as much as possible.

How is this for a final front and back? How will it print at VistaPrint? I am going to use all the highest quality printing options at VistaPrint. The card details seem to be made a bit more subtle when uploaded and viewed online. I wonder how it'll look when printed...

Doesn't look like a standard 2 x 3.5 business card to me.

I used VistaPrint's template to make them.

Your template is 1.18:1 and a standard (US) card is 1.75:1.

EDIT: Where are you located?

What does that mean? Is it possible you're being thrown off by the fact that the image I posted is both cards with a small border inbetween them to separate them just to present to the board?

If that isn't the case, what does the aspect ratio mean to me? I am not familiar with business cards. I used the template VistaPrint provides and stayed within the cut and bleed lines and stuff. :3

Thanks for the response! 8 D

I like the look. I would mention there's a black box showing up behind the phone numbers, which is probably a compression issue. I would also change the Note: to Notes:

Other than that I like them a lot.

I've never printed with Vista Print, so I can't comment on how they'll print. I can recommend looking at nextdayflyers.com, as well. The paper they use is a little thicker I believe.

A standard business card is 2" x 3.5" (1.75:1 ratio). Your template right now is almost a square. If the width is 2", then the width will be 2.36". If you print this now, it's NOT going to be a 2" x 3.5" business card.

I just realized your posting both sides without including a space between the front/back! Never mind. :o

Yep, I see that now! In my defense I had a stroke a few years ago and it takes a while to process things!

One more thing...The contact info looks a bit small. I would print one before you send this off to the printer.

Thanks for all the tips, guys! The black box behind the contact info is intentional. I adjusted some of the things, for a little more symmetry and precision, but you guys don't need to see that. It's more or less the same.

Where can I go print out a test copy?
