In the 5 days I've spent in Death Valley this year so far, I've clicked the shutter about 4000 times. That's about 800 clicks a day.

How much are you using your shutter? Just wondering.

Have fun editing 4000 pictures...I'm sure there must be great shooting this time of the year.

One day at a race track - 1650 pictures.
Around 80 I felt like showing to others.

I have started bracketing exposures lately, just in case for later. But even then, max for me is around 200-250? I got out once a week at sunrise or sunset for about 2-4 hours at a time.

About 150/shooting. Not as much as some people on here. :(

Keeper rate is around 5-10% for uncontrolled environments (such as city photography) to 25-45% for controlled environments (such as portraits).

None...the weather outside is too frightful to doing any real shooting!! Other wise at a soccer match or baseball game...250-350 shots out of which 20 are worth keeping.

I shoot about 60-100 each time I shoot. My keeper rate is about 90%. I only shoot macro and landscapes/sunsets.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I have shot as little as 20 images and as much as 800 per trip.

Today, my skill level is better, so I am shooting maybe 250-400 per trip. My eye has become more discerning, and I know what I am looking for.
The only reason for maybe 400 image per trip, is I am in a location I will not be in very often, and the eye candy is too much to resist. ;)

just a few of my thoughts...
Pierre
