Although this is your typical not so cute finch, and I know most of you are not so thrilled about bird pictures, but I just want opinions on the framing and DOF.

On the question of DOF I can't see a problem but I have increased the contrast to make the Finch stand out more.

I love the way the greenery in the background frames the bird. I like it. The first fix looks a bit dark and the second one looks a bit blown. I think it adds to it and really makes you look dead center at the bird. RESPECTING NATURE while photographing it...
