Hi there,

I'm new here and found this great section on the forum! I've seen some beautiful images and thought I should show you guys some of my photos.

Late Decembre I found this Horned Grebe (or Slavonian Grebe) in winter plumage nearby our house and had the chance to make a full photoshoot. Hope you like it!
Shot with my Canon 1000D and Sigma 400 f5.6, laying down in the snow.

Absolutely stunning images of a beautiful bird! I particularly like the high-key approach. Thanks for sharing and I hope you keep contributing!

Welcome to the bird forum and congratulations on an excellent first post. I really like the very low perspective for these images. Job well done.
