Am I the only one seeing these great little guys on a regular basis?

That is a great set Harv. I love the third one, it is a cracker of a shot.

Thank you very much, Lloyd. Appreciate you looking in and commenting.

I for one don't mind at all Harv. These are exceptionally well done images and are enjoyable to view.

Thanks a lot, Don.

Great set Harvey! I haven't seen a Pine Siskin all winter.

Thanks a lot, Ian. I didn't see any last year but this year I have quite a few.

thank you for sharing them

Thanks a lot for looking in. Glad you enjoyed them.

They really are some exceptional shots Harvey! I had some at the beginning of winter but they moved on and I have not seen them at all since ??

Thanks a lot, my friend. Hopefully some will return for you.

Thank you very much.

What detail...such fun to see birds on your set, who would ever think I would make such a comment?

I am curious about the background of these images. Do you work on the color during processing, or is this the actual colors?

Thanks very much, Pierre. The backgrounds are exactly as shot. They have not been altered in any way. It is an out of focus leafless woodlot well behind the perches. Once spring arrives, it will give me similar green backgrounds.

Great shots Harvey, if I had to pick a favorite, it would be that cute little downy.

You always pick the downy, Sharon. :) Thanks a lot.

Another beautiful set from you Harvey,

We have pretty many regulars of all these species here except for the Siskins (only 2 captures of them so far this year). Fortunately we do get to see your lovely images of them at least.

these are all really good with excellent detail,

Kenn

Thanks a lot, Kenn. Almost as good as your bluebird images. :)

Lovely shots of the "frenzied eaters" Harvey... as well as their friends :) I am getting eaten out of house and home by the little guys... I have anywhere from a couple dozen to at least fifty in my cedar trees... the thistle seed remains look like soot all over the snow in my yard....

You and I both, Dave. When it snows, I have to fill all my feeders at least twice a day, some days three times. I can't believe how fast I'm going through birdseed this year.

Thanks, buddy.
