These are exceptionally well done images and are enjoyable to view. Thanks a lot, Don. Wallace River wrote in post #11757644 Great set Harvey! I haven't seen a Pine Siskin all winter. Thanks a lot, Ian. I didn't see any last year but this year I have quite a few. canon4652009 wrote in post #11757660 very good set Harv, I have never seen a Pine Siskin before (we don't get them in our area) thank you for sharing them Thanks a lot for looking in. Glad you enjoyed them. BGgraphy wrote in post #11757734 They really are some exceptional shots Harvey! I had some at the beginning of winter but they moved on and I have not seen them at all since ?? Thanks a lot, my friend. Hopefully some will return for you. Levina de Ruijter wrote in post #11757846 Another beautiful set, Harvey. Simply outstanding. Thanks a lot, Levina. You are always so kind. hTr wrote in post #11757993 You sure do Birds Right, Crisp Detail, Fantastic realistic Color, Smoooth BG and Great Composion!! ![]() Thanks a lot, buddy. Almost as good as your eagles. Greg Mack wrote in post #11758203 Great exposure on the blacks in the Junco, Downy, and Chickadee. Thanks a lot, Greg. kmunroe wrote in post #11758316 great set of shots Harvey Thank you very much. pbelarge wrote in post #11758329 What detail...such fun to see birds on your set, who would ever think I would make such a comment? I am curious about the background of these images. Do you work on the color during processing, or is this the actual colors? Thanks very much, Pierre. The backgrounds are exactly as shot. They have not been altered in any way. It is an out of focus leafless woodlot well behind the perches. Once spring arrives, it will give me similar green backgrounds. dgraham329 wrote in post #11758671 super shots, Harvey Thanks a lot, Dean. Shar824 wrote in post #11759147 Great shots Harvey, if I had to pick a favorite, it would be that cute little downy. You always pick the downy, Sharon. sparker1 wrote in post #11759350 Great series, Harv. Thanks a lot, Stan. kenn3d wrote in post #11759801 Another beautiful set from you Harvey, We have pretty many regulars of all these species here except for the Siskins (only 2 captures of them so far this year). Fortunately we do get to see your lovely images of them at least. these are all really good with excellent detail, Kenn Thanks a lot, Kenn. Almost as good as your bluebird images. I have anywhere from a couple dozen to at least fifty in my cedar trees... the thistle seed remains look like soot all over the snow in my yard.... db You and I both, Dave. When it snows, I have to fill all my feeders at least twice a day, some days three times. I can't believe how fast I'm going through birdseed this year. -Harv-
