I'd have to say 5/10. Lighting seems to be decent. However, her pose is unflattering for her - eyes close, looking uninterested, arm held out straight. The color of her face doesn't seem to match her body either, much more orange face but body tone looks good.

7/10. And that mainly due to composition. Considering there was more than ample daylight to accomodate a nice fast shutter speed, I like to see something facial in focus. Not sure if the photo degraded to get it posted here. But I enjoy closeup portraits with some detail

A recent attempt ...

My hope was a darker pool with Cascading waterfall behind so the garment contrast more against darker water. But the other waterfalls with dark pools had mist blasting horizontally 60 feet in every direction.

7.5/10 branches really detract and way too much head room - if you were on level with him or looking up at this really could have worked better.

6/10 Not a bad shot but its not really that interesting IMO. For what it is, the composition is good, but it looks like a snapshot to me. The light is also a bit harsh for my liking. All in all I would call it a good "snapshot"

Havent posted in here in a while so here goes...

"Fast Food"

The afternoon sunlight was perfect to capture this eagle while he made this excellent one taloned grab!! Lock and dam 14 in LeClair Iowa is visible in the background.

8/10, cool shot good composition, just wish it wasn't so dark overall, the two drops in the middle right - right are distracting, but if it wasn't so dark overall they might work better...

7/10 - The shadow and the microphone truncate her nose too much. The framing is good but the distorted nose throws the balance off for me.

6/10 - Perhaps if you had zoomed in more and cropped out the boy in the background, it would be better. I would rather see more facial features on the artist than the distracting background. Bet he has a story to tell and focusing on him would have gotten a higher rating.

7/10 the desaturated almost spot-coloring editing isn't too favorable for me. Image seems underexposed and slightly OOF.

Focus is slightly off. It's on the shirt not the face/eyes. Background is bit distracting and lighting is bit flat. 6.5/10

Image noise and lack of detailing in peoples faces is frustrating, nice colours in the lanterns. Little bit busy for my liking, but I'm a stickler for single details ;) 6/10
