7/10

The white wall is going through the hands which is a bit weird for me. Would like to see less shadow and more highlights. Good job though

Love the grain/treatment. It feels so vintage and lovely, but the missed focus reaaaally bothers me.

We had to emulate an artist so I chose Alexa Meade. She paints the subjects and makes the photo look like a painting. What I did was paint on my sister with watercolour, but it looked too dry, so I painted over it by using liquify in photoshop.

Interesting effect and nice work if done by hand. Would be interested in seeing the original photo. 6/10

^8.5/10
Love the sharpness of the man and the clarinet, but maybe if the DOF were slightly smaller it would blur the background more and make the subject stand out better. Also, it'd be nice if the top of his hair weren't slightly cut off. It might just be me but it seems that it's just ever so slightly tilted (or maybe it's just the post by the bike that makes it feel like that)

took this from the observation bay of the gateway arch, looking down into the river

5/10, until I read your description I thought it was a toy... OOF and the helicopter which I assume should be the subject is almost centered... Sorry

8/10 Excellent texture in the petals! But the empty space at the bottom seems a bit incongruous to me

6/10. Good composition but the overexposed area behind the flower isn't doing it for me.

Nostalgia on 2 counts, a film camera and a train ride. Good composition, nice texture to the wood, looks a tad soft to me. 7/10

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "obsession"

8.5 out of 10 A great photo. The only thing distracting is the distortion of the building on the left. Beautiful sky and great composition to me.

Here is a pic from Ocracoke Island, NC
