Sweet idea and good execution, lighting could be improved. I bet they (he?) loved it too  7/10

Very nice b/w, love the angles and the detail. Would be nice framed ön the wall.

I'm going to bypass ben toe's photo because it seems they omitted rating, and will rate your bicycle to continue for now. Maybe ben toe can edit and repost later again.

Th bicycle is at least an 8/10 for me. Love the the look of the shot. Probably would have rated higher yet had it been a more complete shot rather than a compilation of crops. Actually, let me go 9/10 as it sits here. It looks worth framing. There's nothing I don't like about it, but would prefer it better as a single image.

Here's a photo from the coast redwoods, last week. 2nd attempt at photographing a model in that forest.

Nice lit and exposed. Seems like you could tell a bit more of a story using thirds. Pleasing shot, but the clothes and the pose don't fit the background. 7.5/10

Here's my son not enjoying the halfway point of the run leg...

I like the capture very much, the image really explains the moment. However, the contrast is a bit extreme and some rather awkward processing that makes him look synthetic. 7/10

I'm assuming I'm supposed to be looking at the rearview's reflection? If so, I see what you went for, but I find myself wanting to see more of the vintage car and how it looks against the sunset. I'll go 6/10

Cute model but too much color in the background, picture is sharp and nice. 8/10

Nice enough in a "wall art" sort of way, but I think I need to see a little more interest other than just the grasses. 6/10

Not bad. I wouldn't say this lighting flatters this woman..I would generally keep a much softer light on an older individual. As per your technique though, it is pretty good! I would retry this on a younger person. 6/10 overall.

*oops* Changing to rate new photo above!
It looks way overworked to look like a photo at this point. Otherwise, as art, it's fun and I really like the colors, but it is a bit busy. As a photo, it's almost not a that anymore imho (as a noob). 6/10

QUOTED IMAGE

Nice shot, eyes/face don't look as sharp to me though. Were you handholding? I like the composition and exposure and color, but it looks a tad OOF/soft to me. It may be because the face/eyes are shaded compared to top of the head/back. 6.5/10.

Yeah, handholding at the zoo, and also through glass. There was a strong skylight coming in it's enclosure. I've noticed I'm just not quite focusing the best... I know to focus on the eye, but sometimes it just doesn't seem to work? I've gotta take the camera out some more! :) Thanks for your thoughts!

Looks cool, very processed but in a good sort of way, looks a bit like computer graphics or something

Like the composition

8/10

Yep. Originally set up to do a time-lapse of the fast moving clouds but found that I had a few keepers.
