Great expression! I am sure any parent would be happy with this photo!

It's the sun shot through ice with a shallow depth of field. It was shot wide open to keep the sun round. From the same series as this photo.

You could clone it out but I feel its better getting it right in the camera so I tend not to do much of that.

My only negative comment is regarding the upper left side ofbthe shot, is to dark, but according the conditions of the light I think there is nothing else you could do, or transform the shot in an HDR. 8/10.

The angle is bit generic and colors certainly could be richer through PP. In general, nighttime shots are better taken at dusk (with dark blue sky) rather than at mid-night. In this case, the buildings behind the monument don't hold enough interest. To resolve this, could do an exposure blend or, better, hit it at the "blue hour."

Nice composition. However, I wish you had included the top of the mountain on the right. It would have been nice if the boat had been facing the other way, but that was out of your control. And it is a little flat, shot mid-day I assume. 7/10 Canon5DRS,Canon7DII,EF16-35L,EF24-70IIL,EF50L,EF100LMacro,EF135L

To me it just feels like a lot of empty space there. ![]() waterlilly1 ![]() ![]() Shooting with canon rebel T5 or Canon Rebel XS.
