Thanks for the tips. That shot was fairly candid and I was at a friend's house, so it didn't really make sense for me to rearrange his stuff in the name of composition, but I appreciate the critique.

This looks like a really beautiful place. Unfortunately, this shot looks much too over-processed (if it is at all). This is probably subjective, but the saturation is boosted way too high and the composition just seems bland. Simply put, there's just way too much going on at the same time. I get where you're trying to go, but it doesn't seem unique to me. I'd fix it by picking one asset and running with it, rather than focusing on all of them at a time. 4/10

Cool shot. I like the perspective and lighting. Well done. 8.5/10

I like this a lot. I wish there was a little more contrast to make it pop a bit more. Other than it feeling a little flat I like it. I give it a 7/10.

To continue on with the B&W shots.

Your photo seems very busy, and it's difficult to distinct the cabin from the trees. The trees are a little distracting if anything. Lovely reflection on the water, wish the image was a little higher contrast so some sort of white would come through.

I'll give you 7/10.

Your photo has a lot of elements that really make me think about what the situation could be and I find that interesting, but my eye is drawn straight to the red curtain. This kind of ruins the photo for me. It also seems like the focus is a little off, but that could be my computer blowing up the low res shot poorly. I would give it a 4/10.

No clear subject, and the colors are a bit flat. Not really sure what you were going for. 3/10

5/10 Not quite sure what I'm looking at here. Looks like some kind of a flea market? Not very interesting. Sorry.

Compositional balance looks slightly off, not sure what you're trying to do with the sun but the rest of the photo looks good. I'd give it a 6/10.

Focus is spot on and BW conversion is nice. But,the image as a whole(to me) is nothing more than a snapshot. 6/10
