"Round the Trafford Centre" - great choice on the B&W, though wonder if it would look better rotated clockwise to be more symetrical? In any case, very cool shot, been wanting to look into how to do something like that for a while. 9/10

Like this. 8/10 Like the DOF and perspective. I do see two eye looking things in the background that I'm kinda distracted by. Not sure if there is something hidden like a "look twice to see it" kinda thing, or if its just some round shapes in the BG.

Good shot overall but a few things that take away from it -- I think it can use a little more contrast and the large patch of trees on the left of the frame are a bit distracting. The overall tones of the b&w make me wonder what it looks like in color. 6/10

Technically two shots, but worked them together as she wanted to show her two sides together.

Neat shots. I like how it shows two dramatically different sides of her. The shot in front of the graffiti is very nice with all of the popping colors. Good use of flash on her, the reflection is distracting.

Seems a bit washed out, and though I believe it just because of the nature of the wing, a little soft. 7/10 - that said, checked out your flickr feed, some impressive macro work in there. :)

interesting idea. her expression kind of kills it for me and I find the just floating in space idea disconcerting. With that said I can see what you're going for it's just not my taste. personally I'd give it a 6.5/10

Sharp and well exposed but I just find it boring - just a shot of a flower... Nothing really interesting about it, and the highlights in the background are a little distracting. Sorry, 5/10 mate if I'm honest...

^ 8/10 - Lovely lighting, interesting textures with the old books behind her, nice and sharp, nice complexion and tones, but a bit too much clarity for me, kinda looks embossed.

4/10
They're dead center in the frame which makes the composition pretty bland. There's no sense of closeness to me. Would have probably benefited from having them move their heads towards each other or having their foreheads touching and would definitely benefit from a different location especially at that time of day. Blown highlights throughout the entire image kill it for me. And they appear to be OOF (may be from compression). Nothing ties this together...her wardrobe, his wardrobe, and that wrap just don't work together. Sorry to be harsh, but this just isn't that nice of a portrait IMO.

Haven't posted an image here in a while....
