Rate the Photo Above You

i added a bit of vibrancy to the sky.. other then that thats how it was with the recent forest fires we have had

WOW! This is beautiful. Its hard to find anything negative about this photo. If I had to pick one thing, it'd be the two brighter lights behind her head and to the right (about one o'clock ish) They are just brighter than the others and I keep looking at them. But its obviously not a make or break factor for this gorgeous image! 9.5/10

( I hope my image is good enough quality? I have the hardest time resizing to fit into threads! )

I enjoy the power of love shown in your photo. The only thing bothering me with your photograph is that it looks a little unbalanced on the edges where the couple's hands/arms are. It just seems like they're on two different pages. 7/10

im trying to have this image tell me something.. but it just isnt... the center crop is really hurting this shot... maybe a different angle or lighting may up the interest.. 5/10

Nice shot mate. The subject is small in the frame which works well as the foreground is interesting and the sky is pretty good too.

Really good lighting on the model.

Gorgeous river photo! Makes me want to go rafting. My only complaint would be that there is so much to look at, I don't know where to focus. I love the water coming over the closer rock. 7/10

its a nice shot.. but it seems to tight seeing the flag cut off keeps catching my eye.. i really like the DOF though 7/10

Thanks for the compliment, Bart. This next one is my favorite from the whole series, but I have to make it huge to get the nice sharpness out of it that I like...anything smaller doesn't do it justice. I agree that the flag cut off is distracting, but when I pan out the background takes more away from his face and expression as the subject.

By the way, your photos from the desert model series are Phenomenal! I give both this one and your last one before it a 9.9/ 10. It would be a 10 but the light on her body is just a hair too sharp for my taste on the last one. But that is a tiny complaint, and all relative. I couldn't take shots like yours in a million years.

thanks man... i like this shot and yes the bg is a bit distracting but maybe throw a layer with a mask and desaturate the building that should help alot with this shot.. 8/10

Well taken shot, but I don't love the perspective. Subject is small and there is a lot of negative space. I'm sure there are others in your set that I would have liked more.

I think the photo is lacking some drama for as wide as this scene is... More dark clouds perhaps.

I think a little darker exposure on the model would have made this look a little more dramatic. Don't love the shadow cast by the chair...wonder if you could have fill flashed that without getting a kicker light effect.

8/10 for me

7/10 in my opinion as for me big screen in front of the cat is distracting and subject is not well separated from the background.

comp, exposure, colors, are all great only nitpick i would have is the towers have a bit of lean ..could possible fixed in LR or PS in the lens correction.. 7/10

Nice composition. I like that it "breaks the rules" and she's turned so that she's facing out of the frame. Great use of light. My only subjective gripe is that I would like to see it a bit warmer (of course it could be the monitor I'm on right now). I like it! Now I have to go find an open field like this around here and a beautiful model willing to stand in the 100+ heat while I take her photo.

Haven't posted one here in a while so here goes...
