^^ 8.5/10 Very nice portrait I like the Bokeh and the softness of the photos. I do think its a stop over exposed, I focus to much on the whites of his eyes.

7/10 Nice sky. I like the oranges and yellows- you had a good sky that evening. I'm not sure what my focus is supposed to be though. Is it the ship, or the sunset? The ship is too small in the frame to hold my eye.

My personal feeling is about 7.5/10 for this particular photo. I like the location, the perspective and the focus is spot-on. I am not sure about the pose (particularly feet) and couch (why is it oriented like that?). I think the balance of flash and ambient is a bit off too. All things considered I still like the shot and think it is close to hitting the mark!

A shot I took from a recent road-trip. This is from the Logan Pass area of Glacier NP

It can be a nice shot but all the blacks in front (the mountain) just breaks every-things, 3/10 :(

This looks like a snapshot of someone who's about to fall backward into the water. Just being honest. I get what you were trying to do with it, but I don't think it worked. It looks really soft, probably due to motion blur from the model but it kills the shot. It's also cropped way too tight- you've cut off some of her hair on top but the hair is what the photo is supposed to capture. A better shot would be when her hair is already over her head NOT in front of her face.

No you didn't ;) but your rating is good (i thought i will got 1/10  )
i will add that the focus is on her arm not on the falling water/her hair and i was a bit late to push the shutter release (feel falling back as you said).
In all cases Thank you for your honest feeling :D

7/10. I like the feel and the composition. I get what your trying to do but. Feel it's too dark and your hiding the models beauty. The darkness is distracting . Maybe a few stops and you'll get the same effect with. A better view of the model.

I love lightning shots but feel this one is not as compelling, might just be the location? A tighter crop or longer lens might change it significantly :) but knowing where the lightning will strike might make that very hard.

I like the long exposure shot. Is that a pole or a limb kinda in the middle?

She's beautiful. I have 2 nitpicks... Her eyes look a bit "over processed-- too much color added." And the BG has a bit too much blur (for me), but she stunning. 8.5/10

I think eyes are not in focus; soft overall, framing doesn't do anything for me

^ Like the lighting love a B5 S4 front end! 8.5/10 for the lighting, composition and clarity. The dark is distracting even though i like it.

Stick with the car theme.

^i like the car but the framing is off, too much free space in the back while its almost cut off in the front, also have to be aware of the beam that looks like its sticking out of the trunk. 6/10

for a local philly guy above
