I think there are a lot of good things about this image; conversion, dof, focus but I may have cropped it differently (given the option) as my eye is drawn to her nose as it remains. The strengths make up for any personal nitpicks 7.5/10

This is my first attempt at a double exposure

wish i had the talent for double exposure

this photo gives me a sense of melancholy for some reason
8/10 sir

she's Minah from korean pop group Girl's Day

i personally like this shot as she recognised me amongst the crowd(it was a sit-down event of about 200 people) and acknowledged my presence

nice focus on the eye(s) but i cant help but notice the large amount of noise or what appears to be noise on the forehead/top of her head. seems quite distracting as my eye is drawn to hers. also would have liked to have seen the highlights dimmed down slightly, koreans are fairly pale as is and this doesnt help her out. all in all though with her singling you out visually i think it came together pretty well. 7/10

cathedral of trier's garden in Trier Germany, 2 very old school churches converge in this courtyard. i have been trying to learn HDR and this is one of my first attempts at really getting it right. btw this is 7 shots handheld 100 iso

I would've liked to see a landscape orientation of this image shot as a long exposure in color Jeff. I think that would've captured the scene better but that is just my opinion. I don't want to be harsh I know you are a good dude and are just starting out and you always go out of your way to great feedback. I am sorry 5/10

I like this shot. Really gives a sense of speed and motion. I'll give it a 9/10!

This was one of my first attempts at trying to capture lightning.

Please, never apologize for being honest, I am a big boy on public forum I wouldn't post my pictures if I didn't want the truth. If people coddle and lie how do you improve? Besides I knew something was wrong with it just didn't know what. the ones I really like I don't post because I don't care what people think haha.

I happen to have the shot as you described will post it later in the thread.

I love lightning and believe it or not I have never captured a lightning image. I have ventured out a few times with the intent of capturing some lightning for composite work and failed. So right off the bat I give you credit! Mother nature is a majestic creature and every bolt is unique. 8/10

I like this. The way you put the 3 pictures together, looks very nice.
The hatchet type of lighting works really well here.
Could (If it is not already) be a picture for some ad :D

Van, like the shot, if I had to nit pick I would say I would have loved to see a bit more of what is in the shadows to camera left. The temple to camera left is a little hot, but just this side of too much.
7.5/10
I did this B/W conversion and I am not sure how I feel about it.

id like to see the color version of this, but i do like the b/w. gives it a darker tone which seems to be what ol boy is going for. seems sharp enough and not too soft in the right spots. im not a fan of alot of noise but i have a feeling this couldnt be helped as it was probably pretty dark. all in all id say 7/10

Colors on the track and rest of the foreground look good but the sky and high trees to the right need to be toned down a lot. 6/10

For whatever reason this works for me. The creepy vibe is pretty strong and the shot is well executed. Post processing is what really sets this one apart for me and how it fits with the image. I'll gladly give this one a 9/10 for execution and having the ability to create a feeling when viewing this image.
