Please Rate the Photo Above You (writen in the rule > The rules are simple Rate the photo above you and give it a score out of ten)

Also if we start to cross comment/Rate ... photo like this one (just below) will be forgotten  (not nice for the OP which is still waiting for a rating)

Am i wrong ?

I like it, it's not over post processed (i'm not a photoshop guy ;) ), like the colors too, and i like the composition and attitude of the model an very easy 8.5/10

I will not post a photo, because someone need to RATE the bird above me (from underd0g) and post a photo to get back on track ;)

You're absolutely right, I'm a newbie here but that's no excuse for not following instructions. Hey, I hate reading manuals, which is reflected in my photography.

But I'd give the seahorses an 8 simply because the composition seems just a tad off. maybe because it was taken to get those seahorses on the fly.

Good catch Reservoir Dog.

If no one comes from the future to stop you, how bad of a decision could it really be?

2/10, looks like a snap shot. Photo is flat, blown out spot near top right really bothers me. Photo doesn't really do anything to me.

Really cool shot. Very interesting and dramatic. Love the processing and the composition. The noise/graininess adds to it.

8.5/10

Not sure how I feel about it. 7.5/10 because the color balance is way out of control IMO. Also don't really think the zooming effect was entirely necessary for the shot. It adds too much motion to a relatively static subject. Not a bad photo, but probably not your best either.

New to this forum, so I don't know how to quote posts, and I am also way out of my league. But I'd give the last one a 9/10. I love the soft colors and the way all the curves - hand, hips, sweater collar - complement each other. I would crop out the lamps and the potted plant, though.

This is a shot from a year or two ago. Bear in mind that I am definitely an amateur. xD

The colors are nice and rich, but the "pose" is all off. Animals tend to be fairly expressive, much like humans, so a shot from the back isn't that great if there isn't a dynamic background. The focus is a little soft, too, for the amount of light available.

5.5/10.

This is from my first concert shoot. Minimal light, barebones equipment.

Not bad, the picture definitely has some good amount of mood to it.
Minimalistic in terms of lighting, but it works.

7.4/10

Just a casual headshot.

I like it but I guess being uber critical I'd say the pose is a little odd and the lighting a little flat, but its not bad - 7/10

One from Saturday...

I like the photo a lot. The pose is good and I personally like the bit of shade/ sunlight. But I think some people might find it distracting. 8/10

Here is a very raw photo of my son right after he was born. I am upset about cutting the toes but I was very emotional hard to compose in this situation.

Well this picture is more for memory purposes I assume, as such, its easily 10/10.
From e technical standpoint though, its not a 10/10, that's all I will say. But I would not dare to give less then 10/10 in this case. ;)

Another portrait.
