I like the composistion. but I do think the WB is a bit off a touch yellow maybe? 7/10

Reflection shots are tough. I like the colors and your composition isn't bad, but for me there's a lack of a subject to focus on. If you were to take away the clouds I'm not sure the shot could stand on its own. I also think this would have worked stronger if you didn't have an even split of sky to reflection. Having the horizon line dead center is a tad stale. {5/10}

Very simetrical lines. I like the colour of the trees. Pity we can't see more of them with a different crop. 6.5/10

First try with lightning from a softbox. I think I need to place it a bit further away and probably increase a bit the light via shutter speed, but I kinda like the effect

I'm really liking the amount of detail that you captured, which kind of gives it a realistic feel. Unfortunately like you said, I can't see both of his eyes in this portrait, which ruins it for me. Also the crop bothers me but I don't know exactly why. 6/10. Better lighting and I'd give it a 10! :-)

Nice and sharp, and well lit, but the background and composition don't look good.

5/10

I don't have anything to post but I must say, I'd give this an 11. It's really awesome! :)

Cool Northern Lights shot! I would say I prefer to move the horizon lower than center, but it would throw off your symmetry with the water. Not really anything I can pick at 9.5/10 :).

Jack!! Been away for a while and I come back to find another great one from you. I had a comment from a friend that he would buy your composites if they were available for purchase on a t-shirt. Something to think about maybe?? 10/10

Wow, that really is something to think about! What a compliment! Thanks a lot

It is a personal thing but I think this shot could have been a killer if her eyes were on the camera. The skin tones on her back and the back of her arms nicely match the tones from the sky - which is very nice. I looked at you Flikr site and saw other similar images and a few of them seemed to pop ever so slightly more which I think could also make this image better. The 1/60 SS when I zoom in makes the face soft so I think higher would have been better - most, not all of the other images on Flikr use higher SS and are that little bit crisper. Overall 8.5 / 10. Some of the others on Flikr I would give a 9.5 to. Nicely done.

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

You've got this powerful dancer on the middle of the floor and folks aren't looking?! For some reason my eyes are drawn to that and it's distracting but that's not a discredit to you. As for the photo itself and my rating, I appreciate the wide angle. It gives me perspective and although the subject is dead center it works here as the information on the outer edges helps me understand what I'm looking at. The reds and yellows are a bit more saturated than I would prefer and the light between her legs is rather distracting (it really pulls some of the focus off of the subject). But all-in-all, nice photo. {6/10}

Side note, do you have two profiles? I noticed the headshot posted by cubatahavana a few posts up is on your Flickr...?

Nice and sharp, and good that you had a slow enough shutter speed to get the movement of the wheel, but the crop doesn't really work for me. I think it's a bit too close to the head.
