u captured the emotion very well lighting is perfect... love the image over all only nitpick i have is the crop just doesnt quite seem to work for this. 8/10

your processing style isn't what I would do with the heavy vignetting but I still give it high marks - 9/10

- i am away on vacation with my daughter
- this was her leaning to skip a stone
- I didn't have any processing software so it was opened as a raw in I don't even know what (camera is a 1Dx_ii with a 40mm pancake) and saved after 'brightening' the image
- with LR, I could have done a lot, but I like this basic image of a young girl at the beach in summer having fun

7/10 I like lake/river pics. this one looks a bit overexposed for my taste. Would love to see more detail in those clouds to bring out the mood setting.

overall i like what you are going for... issues i have is the img seems a tad under exposed and the depth of field to broad the background fights for attention of the cacti.. also seems to have noise in the clouds. unless that was grain added for effect.. i like the leading line of the hill 6/10

Powerful and sensual image, I like it. I'd crop it a bit tighter to focus more on the legs and I'd lose the watermark (only a fan of them to promote work). I don't know if it is my monitor (I'm at work), but the color temp seems a bit off to me, just a tad. Overall very nice image 8/10

Taking a second look on a different monitor (a few days later) I think the temp is ok. Sorry about that
I haven't seen too many macro shots in this thread, and I have just started taking some myself. What do you guys think?

Great macro shot. Well composed. I might have cropped it very slightly tighter just to see more detail in the creature's face, but that's being picky.

I started editing this ages ago but only just got around to finishing it.. Ended up being a very simple edit with the liquify tool, a few adjustment layers and a smoke brush.

I want to really love this but it's not quite there. I know the image degrades just by uploading it here, so I'm sure that's a factor. Especially with all the small raindrops. To my eye, both the dancer and the rain seems to be soft. Maybe the focus is off on the dancer because it's catching on raindrops elsewhere. Nevertheless she is beautifully lit and I don't think sharpness here matters all that much. I do wish she were in a more recognizable dance pose because my first thought was it looks almost like she is an Olympic diver.

Very striking. 8.5/10

the colors and exposure and nice... im a bit puzzled with the location as they seem out of context since there is nothing to do with golfing and the background would be much nicer in bokeh as it currently fights for attention, and not sure what the name is of the pants he is wearing but the odd bunching happening near his ankle makes it look like his leg is deformed... 6/10

Shot is okay because the colorful & bright flowers takes my attention from the ring. Also the ring is not exposed for main subject matter. If the flowers were further away from the ring and ring was little brighter.

Very Strict Rating 6.5

I like the story. Image captures a feel of desperation. Why isn't he sitting on the rock?

Stepping left a bit could have minimized the perspective shift of the door frame and foundation, or to the right to accent it more. To me, it's right at that too much/not enough line. A tighter crop (width), or gradient darkening would make the extra bright area to the side less distracting.

Really like it, beautiful girl. I looks a bit flat, but overall very good 8.75/10
