9/10 - nice picture, good tones, and, for me, an emotional connection...my daughter had a cleft palate (not lip, like here). A few pounds donated to Smile Train (external link), a charity for cleft lip repairs in 3rd world countries would make all the difference to kids like this one here.

I clicked on your flicker link and have to comment that I was impressed!

thank you!

I would give that a 9. I really like it and it makes me feel as if I am there, and I like the use of a big stopper ( I am assuming ) to blur the cars making it unique.

Big Ben, with 2 busses blurred :) -- just converted from raw, no editing.

Ok i'm e newbie so i can't really comment on much but i do like it, the lights off the buses seem a bit too random though almost as if it should be two different pics.

My attempt, i don't have a macro lens, this was done with my 18-200mm sigma... it helps that the ant was huge!!

Great subject, great dof & great expousre.
Where it falls just a tad bit short for me is the right arm being cut just a tad and there seems to be a slight orange over cast. Other then those tid bits nice job.

I'll give 8/10 for the exact same reasons the guy above said. But I really really like that shot! The DoF is very impressive! Which camera and lens did you use to get that? I'd guess a 5D2 + 85L?

Here's a Jewish grave with a guard tower in Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp:

(and yes... I'm posting most of my photos from that trip :p)

Photography is about GEAR and not talent or practice. Practice won't make you a better photographer. Expensive equipment will. =D

I'm new at this.....hope it's OK for me to jump in and play. I find your photo interesting, but mainly because you said what it is. Perhaps showing more of the grave would have made it clearer? Anyway, I'll say 7 out of 10.

It's the Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa, Japan. It's a great place to visit.
