Great model and interesting setup - but still seems a little half baked and to me it needs more work to be quite right 6/10

Took this in Burma during a visit in a mountain village:

I quite like this photo! The whole "National Geographic" mood and the light rays over the smoke give it a great feeling! Sharp and well framed. You'll get a 9/10!
Just a suggestion: try to apply some Blue Channel Technique (google for it) over it! I think you can get a great result with that photo!

8/10 I like it a lot I just think the yellow flames in the background take away from the white candles.

While the photo has great color and sharpness with just the right amount of DOF, there are a few flaws. The bud top center detracts quite a bit for me and is always fighting for my attention. I'd also like to see more of a portrait crop, so just bring the left and right side in a tad bit more. Hope that helps.

9/10 - It's got a sort of ethereal, surreal quality about it that I find quite enthralling...and i'm left wondering, "how did you do that?"

I've sold off all my equipment, but here's a snapshot from a few years back that I've always felt like I fell short on composition with...but wasn't sure what I'd do differently..google "manson truck" for more photos of this subject from other photogrphers.

10/10 - This is an exceptionally striking photo, the color, the lighting, the angle, the playfull look in her eyes, the whole thing just pops. Very nicely done!

Just a FYI, a lot of the posters in this thread seem to be missing the point. This thread is for CC & feedback. There seems to be way to many X/10's with barely any reasoning to support their rating.

Detailed comments are always appreciated, if it's not too much trouble.

6/10 - If taken a little wider and showing more of his face this would've turned out much better.

8/10 - Good timing on the action, and it's a very sharp image, but it's a little dark on the face and there is a unusual outline around the life jacket and his head.

I love the highlights on the hair! To be perfect, just needed a little fill flash on the face. You'll get a 9/10!

Awesome subject matter, lacking in contrast though. 8/10
