Not enough DoF in the image and the composition could be improved. 6/10

9/10. Like the focus and depth of field. I'd prefer a bright clean look rather than the overall dark feel to the image.

7/10 Very good focus, love the b&w and the setting. To me her pose is a little awkward and distracting though. The tilt of her head and arch of her back look unnatural.

I don't know about this one...I like it and I don't I guess...but the B&W conversion looks really nice. 7.5/10

Here is my shot, just a fun one...and yes the grass is dead so that's why it's more yellow than green.

The girl is great and her eyes are awsome! but the guy holding her I just find takes away from the girls face...I would prefer a tighter crop on her face....

Heres another snapshot I took at an event the other day

Yep I realised that now:)

Your conveying the closeness of the family well here then....but its tough to do two things here...the focus of the picture is definitly on the girl wile at the same time you want to show her father lifting her up so its kind of a power struggle between the two....are you looking at the girl or at the picture as a whole? if you know what I mean!

Exposure looks decent. But that's about it.

@ theone29:
Great shot. I love the composition and colors are spot on.

Here I'm playing with some nice oldschool lens flare. Specifically chose a lens with fewer aperture blades for the hard look.

As a product shot it works well, but the subject is dull (not your fault). The contrast between the white counter and dark background is good but the cap on the bottle is lost in the dark. Composition wise I'd maybe have had the bottle a bit further over to the right and tilted slightly more towards the camera than it is.

7/10
