We were going to try and do a different pose with the baby resting her chin on her hands but the shot in #3 just came at the spur of the moment. We were just turning her around away from my helpers body and she was out cold. Being that my helper was strong enough and the pillow was literally inches from the baby and I wanted to get this shot. The baby was about 6 feet from the glass. I tend to be more direct light sometimes so I decided to have the light straight on to the baby. Other types of sessions I will work with more shadows but not so much with newborns. Heather S.
