:o

I was just fooling around with my old equipment... but when I looked through the glass, it looked dirty.. it's my old Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 lens which I planned to use on video recording. Decided to open it up ( I can pretty much fix most thingS...including cars..and stuff).. well, I can't put it back. DON'T TAKE YOUR LENS APART!

I'm not!

This lens has a serious sentimental value.. it's a hand me down from my dad. He bought the camera and the lens in Japan in early 70's when he used to frequent there on business...

I wonder if you sent all the parts to Canon if they'd put it back together for you...

I was going to say the same thing. Or maybe a local shop that deals with Canon stuff. You're in Dallas, so I imagine there are at least a few camera shops around.

One time I opened up the transmission box on my motorcycle. That was the last time I opened a transmission box on anything.
