The original image was somewhat lacking - underexposed as I unfortunately had the camera on full auto and it couldn't cope with the pretty bright light coming in from the left and the deep shadow in the rest of the picture. I am beginning to find my way round PS and have had an attempt at 'cleaningup' the image and came up with these.

As usual, helpfull comments welcome.
