I would be happy to trade you! We were lucky enough not to lose power.

That sucked more than I can say. I was literally trapped in my house from Friday night until that Sunday around 4pm. Damn good thing I got everything I could need for the kids and I, Friday before it got bad.
It was so bone chilling cold this morning I gave my kids a ride to school.

Looking forward to my trip to Georgia and Florida at the end of March.

I dont think people realize how COLD minnesota has been this year. Grand rapids hit -42 and -47 on back to back days. Im lucky, in the central part of Minnesota...we warmed up to -18 and -21 both those days. The entire month on January,,we never hit 32 degrees. I dont think we have see 30 in elk river all january---been a tough month.

I can say even for us here in illinois the temp has stayed below zero in January more than years past. Feel for you all in Minnesota, as you can for us come spring when the mighty Mississippi comes out her banks. From all the extra snow fall this season.

Where in MN? In Extreme Southeast Wisconsin (I'm a mile from the IL/WI border, and about 3 miles from the lake) we got 24". I've got 5-7 foot drifts in the yard, and at the end of the driveway, there is a 7 foot pile of snow...

Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.
