I shoot that combo ALL the time, and it works just perfectly. If you don't know what you're talking about, keep your opinions to yourself and quit confusing the OP.

At what aperture are you shooting, and how much are you cropping @ f/1.4?

Just because it mounts and takes a picture does not mean that it fulfills the requirements set forth by the OP. Without stating how much it vignettes at wider apertures you are the one adding confusion.

Having owned the lens, doesn't mean you know what you're talking about. I drive a car, but I'm not qualified to speak about suspension component design.

You = reading comprehension fail. It only vignettes at f/4 and smaller. Up to f/3.5 or so, there is hardly any vignetting at all.

For low light, wider apertures where this user is expecting to use it, the lens is ideal.

A quick search will reveal thousands of photos taken with this very combo.

Under 400$ ... Ef 35mm F2, EF 24mm F2,8.

I can confirm, he doesn't know what he is talking about. I've seen pics from this combination with apertures 1.4-2.0 and in broad daylight there is some vignette but very low and pictures are quite usable...
