Tried out some spots that I really like in Manhattan Beach.

cool set - #1 looks sharp in the shirt and the brick wall, but a bit soft on the face. #4 looks a bit uncomfortable - his legs are wide open, and the eyes go straight there...

#3 is my favorite.

Well, I think with #4 is that he is leaning to the side and a bit forward so it looks a bit uncomfortable. If he was leaning to the right, I think it would work well with the open space. I like #3 the best too :)

#1, his arms might look better crossed, or with some arm holes instead of dangling down. Perhaps if it was cropped smaller to get rid of the arms it would look better. #2 the angle looks like he is about to fall backwards. Just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks for your input. Hopefully I can remember your suggestions next time I shoot.

Regarding the arms in shot #1, I'm still trying to remember that if it's a body part that bends, bend it.
