Howdy,

I backordered one from Guitar Center (http://www.guitarcenter.com …=3740040&CJSID=e2laqxaqgf (external link)) last night since the deal was just too tempting to pass :o. Someone on another DSLR site posted it yesterday and people were jumping on it pretty fast. From a quick look around, it looks like $49 (+tax and shipping =~$60) was still a lot cheaper than B&H with no tax and no shipping ($99). I went ahead and ordered it to be able to experiment with an external recorder along with my T2i. My T2i, with the MKE400 mic, has been pretty good in high ambient noise environments where the AGC doesn't get into trouble like it would in a quieter location. Magic Lantern is also on my list of things to experiment with since they have overcome the AGC issue with their "firmware" revision. Even still, this will at least give me remote audio recording capabilities :).

Enjoy! At $50 that's a great deal. I'm not too terribly keen on the 07 since there's no external mic inputs, but for only $50 there are millions of cool sounds you could get, especially when you don't want to put a $300 recorder somewhere. ;)

Howdy All,

Looks like they no longer have it at $49 . Sorry if you missed it.

P.S It does have a 3.5mm stereo input jack :).
