The fireworks on Taipei 101 were very interesting visually but difficult for photos. I should have switched over to video mode to capture all the motion in the patterns. It just didn't work in still photos. Overall we were disappointed in the 101 show but happier with the riverside fireworks. Seemed like the 101 show either stopped short or was missing something (I heard many fireworks never made it out of the port).
