It seems like a silly little problem, but having a stable, non-leaky water dripping bottle/container w/ adjustable height has actually been difficult for me to come up with.

I have a small plastic bottle with a small diameter nipple on it, which accepts a piece of plastic tubing perfectly and I've attached a small aquarium valve to regulate the flow. Of course the bottle leaks from the threads on the lid, causing double drips and disruptions in the tray of water below. I have it hanging from a string basically, so it's easy enough to raise and lower, but this means it's also able to twist and swing back and forth- causing me to have to re-check the focus point repeatedly. So.....the only part that's reliable so far is the valve!

Someone has probably got this solved and I'm sure it will be a DOH! moment for me but I'd appreciate any ideas you have. Thanks.

I did this last night with a medicine dropper, construction paper, kool-aid, and a glass.

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

Plastic sandwich bag with water, suspend bag above dish, pin-hole in one corner.

The beginner clicks the shutter and says "Let's see what I got." ... The experienced photographer thinks "How can I capture what I see?"
