Thank you Tom… he was sitting on this branch and I managed to inch up on him from 40 yards away. A big storm was coming in, wind blowing, and he seemed to be trying to ward off the cold. At times closing his eyes as the wind blew.

Birds make a mess on the feeders, squirrels help to clean it up...

Sometimes Wayne they get so overwhelming you have to act.. I live trapped 15 squirrels and rat trapped 3. moved them all out of my property.
I was much kinder this year… Three years ago I shot 24 squirrels and 18 chipmunks … They can take over .

We only have a few in the area, and none of them stay on my small city parcel. There just pass through occasionally, eat seed of the ground and drive my Aussie nuts...

Nice one Tom… Our counter part the chipmunk is fast asleep, although they do wake up around this time, then back off to bed they go till spring.
