Backyard.
Our local hawk was flying around, The top one had just avoided being caught.
A couple weeks prior the other one had been picked up by the hawk and fought enough to be dropped... never seen again. (Not a good picture)

Makes me think of the "Spirit bear" of the Pacific. They are a white version of the black bear and are considered sacred by the natives. So I'm thinking humans have been less of a danger to them, which favors them and their numbers grow.
