I did my first shoot with actual models and not friends... It was a group shot, which is a great way to get experience. I understand I need to working on lighting. I was using a 430 ex II when I could and then just natural light. I really really had fun. Im looking for criticism to strengthen my skills .

(Note this is my second post on this shoot. The Bikini version is here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=994953)

I dig these. I don't know why, but I actually like how #3 looks really cold and goosebumpy. It shows she's suffered for the art. Kudos.

#5 is kind of awkward, like she's saying "....is this OK?" Otherwise, I think #1-3 are my favs.

I agree with above. Black and white might do it more justice. Maybe with a lot of pp you can remove the sand because I almost thought it was hair lol.

Love the photos tho. Especially number 2.

Great photos. Although I'm not so much of a fan of #5, possibly because of the crop. The sand doesn't bother me *too* much in #3, and I wish there was a little more light on her camera-right side, but I enjoy the light play.

Is this up in Malibu?
